DAMMAM, SAUDI ARABIA – Mid-June 2026 – SINCHOLD has recently completed the fire protection system EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project for the Saudi Haden 2GW Photovoltaic Power Plant, successfully passing the final acceptance and officially handing over the project. The successful delivery of this project marks a new milestone for SINCHOLD's comprehensive engineering capabilities in the new energy infrastructure and industrial fire protection sectors, further solidifying the company's brand presence and project execution capabilities in the Middle East market.

The Haden 2GW Photovoltaic Project is one of the flagship projects under Saudi Arabia's "Saudi Vision 2030" energy transformation strategy, and a key project accelerating the country's energy structure adjustment and renewable energy development. With a total installed capacity of 2,000 megawatts (2GW), it is a large-scale utility-scale Independent Power Producer (IPP) project, holding significant strategic importance in promoting Saudi Arabia's energy diversification, reducing fossil fuel dependence, and achieving its "Net Zero" target by 2060.
The project is invested and constructed by Buraiq Renewable Energy Company, jointly established by ACWA Power, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), and Saudi Aramco Power Company. The EPC general contracting is implemented by a consortium led by China Energy Engineering Group International Engineering Co., Ltd. (CEEC).
In this project, SINCHOLD partnered with MINIMAX, a German giant in the fire protection technology industry, to successfully complete the full life-cycle EPC construction of the fire protection system. The scope of work covers fire protection system engineering design, equipment and material procurement, fire piping installation, steel structure fabrication and support system installation, system integration, testing and commissioning, as well as final acceptance and project handover.

Throughout the project execution, the SINCHOLD project team fully leveraged its professional technical advantages and international project management experience, strictly adhering to international standards and project specifications. All construction tasks were completed with high quality and efficiency, achieving comprehensive fulfillment of project safety, quality, and schedule targets, earning high recognition from both the client and partners.
The successful delivery of the Haden project fully demonstrates SINCHOLD's comprehensive engineering capabilities in complex industrial projects and new energy infrastructure, further validating the company's technical expertise and project execution capacity in fire protection systems, industrial piping, steel structure engineering, MEP installation, and integrated EPC solutions.
Looking ahead, SINCHOLD will continue to deepen its presence in new energy, industrial, and infrastructure construction sectors, actively participating in the global energy transition and sustainable development process. The company remains committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient engineering solutions to clients, contributing more "Chinese Wisdom" and "SINCHOLD Power" to the advancement of global green energy and sustainable infrastructure development.
