Anti-corrosion measures

The crane track is protected by a small amount of anti-rust measures. The paint on the surface of the track can be used as a lubricant, but it cannot be used to run the machine. Generally speaking, the rail cross section is larger, and the corrosion rate is less than the wear of the rail head. In some design specifications, it can even be seen that rails with a design service life of 50 years are still in use, while other rails are only replaced due to severe wear or facility upgrades.

Other accessories installed on the track need to be rust-proof when they are installed outdoors or without shelter. The rubber pad under the rail will not be corroded because the steel belt is tightly embedded in the rubber. SINCHOLD's track shoes rely on the frictional resistance of the two components, so they cannot be painted before installation. Most of the devices must be painted after completion. If the customer specifies the use of galvanized press plates, all steel accessories such as bolts, nuts and washers must use galvanized plates.

In a corrosive environment:

it is generally required to spray paint after galvanizing, and the steel backing plate is generally hot-dip galvanized.

In the heat treatment process:

care must be taken to prevent the steel plate from deforming due to heat treatment.
